To establish a sustainable rigorous culture of teaching evidenced by the highest pupil achievement.

     Updating schemes of work.

     Primary School assessment will be reviewed and updated.

     Achieve seamlessness of curriculum, assessment, pedagogy, pastoral care across MGS.

     Update Middle school assessment.

     Appropriate pathways are available to Senior College pupils

     Cultural diversity will be recognised throughout the school.

     Review the use of and access to ICT across the curriculum.

     Determine the delivery , monitoring  and reporting of Key Competencies.

     Implement National Standards

     CSN Technology Strategy

     To embed the practice of exemplary teaching throughout the school.

     Create an environment conducive to learning.

     Implement a range of Thinking Strategies in the Senior College.

     Formative assessment practices in the Middle School will be reviewed.

     Monitor Maori/Pasifika achievement in the school.

     Develop the practice of differentiated instruction in the school in 2011.

     To train Primary teachers in inquiry-based teaching and learning in 2011.
